because the last one's so old and it annoys me.

But yes, still alive. Busy with life. Still here occasionally. I did put all my pictures in storage, mainly because I'm not around often enough to keep an eye out for art theft and things like that. I do really appreciate the people who have kept an eye out for me though :)

Yes I am still here and I respond to comments and such, but not with any real regularity. Even though it's summer, I'm still busy and have other things to hold my interest, including a now eight month-old Border Collie puppy <3 Her name is Luna and she is amazing. She was very cute as a tiny!puppy (i46.tinypic.com/b3k585.jpg) but she's still adorable as a biggger!puppy (i50.tinypic.com/2yoy0zn.jpg).

Yeah. School makes a busy Skybee. I seem to spend most of my time doing homework or studying xD I think I might have pictures around here somewhere. I'm just not sure where I put them >> I might've moved them to my external hard drive because I was running out of disk space. Hrm. Need to work on that.

Two WorldsI'm hoping and praying that I won't get lost between the two worlds, for I know that the truth does not lie in between them. Like an insect attracted to a light bulb or a bird that instinctively flies south for no reason other than it must, I find myself traveling towards the world of Emancipation. I remember telling myself that it was black and no good for me, but when I was walking on the outskirts of the world of El, I looked up and saw a rainbow calling me and drawing me in. The gold at the end of the inviting colors began calling my name, and I was so entranced with its beauty that I became unaware of the that time flew by as I traveled from one world to the other. Now that I am here, I look in shock as I find myself so far away from El that I can hardly see it, but I soon hardly care as I leap and bound about in this now-familiar world of Emancipation.
Come back, my son. The voice is soft and kind, but easy to ignore. Diamonds of pleasure run through my fingers. Come ba ForgivenAll that's done is forgiven.
I howled out this cry, hoping beyond hope that Merikh could still hear me and would answer. But as I continued to listen, all that greeted me was silence. As the reality that he was really gone sunk in, the whole world became silent as well. The trees wouldn't speak to me, the bird's songs had disappeared, and even my lone howl seemed to be void and empty. Merikh's scent was gone. I couldn't even hear my own thoughts; the only words that echoed through my mind were Why? Why did it have to end this way? Why?
I was sitting near the river right next to the hollow log where he had been sleeping up until last night. Everything around me was so empty right now. For the first time ever, the rippling river wouldn't calm my soul. The scents of animals were gone and the sound of the wind and river was just a memory. The silence was overwhelming, oppressing. The feathers on the back on my neck swirled around as if searching for meaning in this emptiness.
As I HelplessHelpless, he stared out the window into the outside world that he could never reach. A world that would only exist in stories and pictures, but one that would never be felt, or tasted, or loved. He was too valuable to be let loose; it was too dangerous. Others would kill him for reasons that he didn't understand. Nothing that he did made him deserve this fate, only fate itself forced this upon him. The organization didn't want one of the keys disappearing on them.
He was a key, yes, a key to a new beginning. That's what he was told. But could that excuse his daily pain, and the constant probing and experiments? Was it all a lie? They said that he could save millions, but was it really true? He was young, but he had already gone through hell. He didn't remember much from before he had been captured, and the life he led was all he knew. Ever since he had been born, people had been afraid of him, and as a result, he in turn had learned to fear. Those who were scared of him had taught him
